I bundled the LG top load washer and dryer together a week ago. Control panel is confusing. Using the washer dials is waste. It doesnt dispense enough water. The water senses the weight of clothes and dispenses water according. Normal load button hardly covers the top of the clothes. I find myself manually putting water in the tub before starting the wash cycle to provide more weight to the clothed to fool the water sense. As far as the clothes dryer the medium heat setting is ridiculous. For normal load the setting will take well over hour.

I bought this machine 6/2022 in July of this year it initially started making a noise when spinning and same day stopped spinning. Spoke with LG customer service and was told for $449.00 a certified technician could come to my home and assess the machine. IF it was repairable parts and labor would all be taken care of if not I still have to pay $449 for service call. The machine was just over 2 years old and used in a two person home. Very disappointed in performance and warranty details.

I exchanged our LG impeller model for this agitator version because it wasnt getting clothes clean. This one STILL DOESNT CLEAN There is always visible dirt left in our socks and visible/smellable deodorant left in undershirts. Ive done all the troubleshooting steps there is nothing broken or dirty or clogged and I use the proper amount of detergent. Ive watched the cycle through the clear lid and found that even with the agitator and using different cycles yes heavy duty too the clothes get moved around in one lump. This is bad bad bad engineering. Its either that the size of the agitator paddles are too small for the size of the drum or the agitation pattern isnt correct to properly move the clothes around each other. Im so upset with these LG washers

I like my new washer the clothes are cleaner than my old machine. Im not sure I like the control panel yet. I like washing in cold water all the time and dont like have to fool with buttons every time. I also dont like I have to watch the water level on small loads because it doesnt fill enough to cover the clothes. I called service and they wont come out to make sure its running right.

HORRIBLE Have constant problems with soap scum residue. This is a problem with this machine with numerous sites on the internet describing this problem. We have tried all solutions recommended on the internet and from LG sites and LG. Had a LG technician show up twice for warrantee work and his final recommended solution was to do laundry more often like every 2 or 3 days and to perform a TUB CLEAN cycle with a recommended cleaner more often. We are senior citizens who dont get our clothes dirty at all and do 2 or3 loads at a time every 2 weeks. We want to get rid of this washer just over a year old but refuse to sell it or give it away to an unsuspecting victim who will inherit this problem.

HORRIBLE Often leaves white residue on clothes. This is an ongoing issue many reports and complains on the internet that we have tried all suggested methods to fix. We also had an LG technician come twice to evaluate and fix. His final recommendation was to do laundry at least every other day to avoid soap scum buildup. He said to do laundry every 2 days or so.. we are senior citizens with little laundry need and do 3 loads every 10 days. Also recommended to use a cleaner and TUB CLEAN CYCLE more often. I want to get rid of this machine and dont even want to sell it or give it to an unsuspecting person.

My old washing machine kept breaking down and I was done fixing it. So I did some research and found out LG had the best ratings so I went and looked at one. It had a ten year warranty on it and happened to be on sale. I like it. So we baught it. We have had for a month now and have been very happy with it. It doesnt use as much water as my old washing machine and hoping to see are water bill go down. It also spins better so my dryer doesnt work as hard. Very satisfied so far.

RXO... Worst Delivery Company EVER

I cannot review the washer WT7005CW and dryer DLG7001W yet because they have not yet been delivered. They were supposed to be delivered last Friday. I took the day off from work Friday to be ready for the delivery. I also had an appointment with a company for the gas dryer connection on Monday. LG outsources to a company named RXO for their deliveries which is the worst company I have ever had to dealt with. I received an automated call the day before the expected delivery with the time frame window of between 9:30AM-1:30PM. I waited... and waited. At 12:45PM I received a call from them stating that they were a FEW HOURS behind. OK... things happen sometimes beyond their control. I then waited... waited... and waited some more. As 6:00PM rolled around I call RXO to get a status update from them. Come to find out the phone number they give is for a call center in the Philippines. They had no idea where the truck was and said they would have to email RXO to find out what is going on. An EMAIL yes. Not a phone call or radio to the driver not a text message... but an EMAIL. They have no other way of contacting their delivery team. Come Saturday after waiting for contact from them I decide to Google RXO where I unveiled literally hundreds of complaints against this RXO delivery service. Same issue with no contact no-shows late arrivals and many more. I soon receive a call from RXO Saturday morning stating that they have rescheduled the delivery for Sunday due to issues they did not explain two days after the initial estimated delivery. Much to my surprise I received a call from RXO Sunday morning saying that there is now a problem with their truck and they have to reschedule for 3 more days later on Wednesday. I had to cancel the appointment I had for the dryer connection which was for Monday. We have been without a washing machine now for 2 1/2 weeks and we have no idea whether or not the twice rescheduled Wednesday delivery will even happen. This company RXO that LG uses for deliveries should be changed to another company... ANY other company. They have the worst reputation yet LG continues to use them. I will never purchase any other LG product. There is no way to know who they use for delivery BEFORE the purchase so I cannot trust that they wont use this company in the future. They have no logistics no communication and no way to get a reasonable update. Lets see if they show on Wednesday. I wouldnt be surprised if they had another issue with the truck.

I am not happy with this machine. The LG technician came out to see if fix it but the machine does not have a broker part. The machine intermittently does not wash. It fills and then it just sits. Sometime it washes then it fills to rinse and it just stays full with no further movement. I had it with this machine. I want a better product.

We purchased our LG washing machine a couple of months ago. I absolutely love it. Fascinating to watch the various cycles uses a good amount of water to actually clean the clothes and has all of the features I needed. I prefer the agitator style machine never felt clothes were really clean with our previous one that used a minimal amount of water and no agitator. My only problem is that I am short and its kind of a stretch to get the laundry out of the bottom of the tub - no fault of the machine. I did not receive this product free for a promotion.

Ive had this washer for a little over 3 years and it has performed so well. My only issue a me issue was that I didnt know how to use all the functions for a few years in. I finally know how to soak the clothes without having the water drain too soon. The capacity is great its fairly quiet and cleans the clothes well. I like having an agitator even though many washers dont have them any longer. Overall great machine great price and still looks like brand new.

Cannot wash just one garment at a time which is not noted anywhere on the machine on the sales floor have to download the manual until you are made aware of this procedure machine gets out of balance and then it resets the time but still does not finish the cycle. Even if you are doing more than one garment and the machine gets out of balance it takes stopping the machine and resetting the cycle which results in more TIME. This machine is a waste of time

After paying $401.35 someone came out stayed 5 minutes to tell me the transmission had gone out. The person was an authorized service person because LG had no servicer in my area. They sell the washer in my area yet it is no one to repair it. I had to purchase another washer. Please dont purchase this washer.

THE 5 MONTH WASHER

Consumers please do NOT purchase this machine. I purchased it 11/2022. The machine started to get an error message E6 which is a clutch error. Really the machine is 5 months old. LG requested a model number which was provided. No response. When I called back they need serial number which was on the side of the machine. I live in a townhouse that has a wash closet that accommodates just the washer and dryer. Im 68 years old and unable to move the machine around. This continued from May 2023 to February 2024. The haggling that LG was doing was running out the warranty so I paid 400.00 for not LG yet an authorized dealer to come out and tell me the transmission was gone. Really a machine that had not been utilized 10 times. Nothing again from LG. I had to purchase another washer last Thursday that arrived yesterday. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS.
